Every wine has its own story – one that begins with the harvest, continues with carefully monitored fermentation, and matures patiently until it finally finds its voice in the glass. But sometimes, a wine’s journey also leads it through an international competition where it is judged by experts from around the world.
Mundus Vini is one of the world’s most prestigious wine competitions, organized by the renowned German institute Meininger Verlag. Twice a year, hundreds of oenologists, sommeliers, and wine critics gather in Neustadt an der Weinstraße, Germany, to conduct blind tastings of thousands of entries from all over the globe.
At the Spring 2025 edition, Chateau Cristi was honored with six medals – an achievement that both humbles us and drives us forward.
Gold Medals:
- Petit Chardonnay
- Petit Rara Neagră
- Bravoure Feteasca Neagră
Silver Medals:
- Petit Saperavi
- Bravoure Sauvignon Blanc/Pinot Grigio
- Cristi Chardonnay
For us, these distinctions are not an end in themselves. They are proof that Chateau Cristi wines continue to follow a consistent story – one of balance, refinement, and respect for their origins.
