TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE — www.chateau-cristi.com
These Terms and Conditions apply to product orders placed via the website www.chateau-cristi.com, operated by ABC NEW BUSINESS LINE SRL.

1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
The website www.chateau-cristi.com is owned and operated by ABC NEW BUSINESS LINE SRL. By placing an order via this website, the Customer confirms full acceptance of the Terms and Conditions set forth below, which are based on the legislation of the Republic of Moldova (hereinafter referred to as “the Terms”).

The use of the website constitutes acceptance of these Terms as proposed by ABC NEW BUSINESS LINE SRL in accordance with Law No. 284/2004 on electronic commerce. The relationship between the Client and the Seller is governed by Law No. 105/2003 on consumer protection and other applicable normative acts.

The Seller reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, and the Customer agrees to independently monitor any such changes.

2. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
By accessing and using www.chateau-cristi.com, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data for the purposes of processing, confirming, and fulfilling your order.

Personal data is processed lawfully and solely for legitimate purposes: delivering the ordered products, promotional and marketing activities, analytics (e.g., via Google Analytics), cookies, newsletters, and notifications.

All personal data is retained and used only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected, in accordance with Law No. 133/2011 on the protection of personal data.

We use commercially reasonable security measures to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the proper use of information. However, no method of data transmission over the internet or wireless networks is entirely secure. Therefore, like many companies, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information shared with us. All information is provided at the user’s own risk.

3. ORDER REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT
Payments for orders are made by bank card. Once the order is completed, you will receive a fiscal receipt as confirmation of payment.

Online payments are processed with maximum security using a card that supports internet transactions. Once the payment is successfully completed, a confirmation will be sent to your email address.

The payment processor uses a secure system based on the latest 3D-Secure version — a global authentication standard for online payments. The system redirects the buyer to a secure MAIB page where the transaction is verified via a unique one-time password.

Refunds are only possible to the same card used for the original transaction.
To complete a payment, the following details are required:

  • Card number (16 digits)
  • Expiry date (month/year)
  • CVC or CVV code (3 digits)
  • Cardholder’s name

If the card is issued in a currency other than MDL, the amount will be converted according to the issuing bank’s terms and exchange rates.

4. PRODUCT DELIVERY
Once the order is confirmed, the Customer will receive details about the estimated delivery date via courier or delivery service.

Deliveries are made only within the municipality of Chișinău, within 48 hours of order confirmation. Delivery hours are from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Free delivery is offered for orders above 1,000 MDL. For smaller orders, the delivery fee is 50 MDL and is added to the total amount.

No deliveries are made on Sundays or public holidays.

In exceptional cases (e.g., adverse weather conditions, high season, technical disruptions), the delivery period may be extended. Customers will be informed accordingly.

Delivery can be made to any address — home, office, etc. — with no additional fees. However, only one delivery address is allowed per order. If you wish to send products to multiple addresses, separate orders must be placed.

Upon receipt, we kindly ask you to verify the condition of the packaging and the presence of the fiscal receipt in the presence of the courier. Claims regarding these matters will not be accepted after delivery.

5. RETURN POLICY
In accordance with Law No. 105-XV of 13 March 2013 on Consumer Protection, the Customer is entitled to return a product for valid reasons within 14 days from the date of payment. Refunds will be issued exclusively to the same card used for the original purchase.

Opened or damaged bottles of wine cannot be returned or exchanged, in line with Annex No. 2 to Government Decision No. 1465 of 08.12.2003 (MO248-253/19.12.2003), as amended by Government Decision No. 1188 of 02.11.2007 (MO175/09.11.2007).

6. PRIVACY POLICY
According to Law No. 133/2011 on personal data protection, the service provider collects and processes data lawfully, in good faith, and in full compliance with confidentiality and security requirements.

Only the data voluntarily provided by the consumer when placing an order is collected: first and last name, phone number, delivery address, and email address.

This data is used strictly for site administration, order delivery, and customer communication. Customers are informed that their personal data will be processed in this context.

The service provider does not disclose personal data to third parties without the explicit consent of the data subject and does not sell, trade, or transfer data, except in cases required by law (e.g., by government authorities, law enforcement, courts).

Personal data may also be used for statistical and marketing purposes.

Employees of the service provider are bound by confidentiality obligations. Data processing is carried out by authorized personnel, with appropriate technical and organizational security measures in place.

The provider does not collect or store bank card information (card number, expiry date, etc.).
